Toyota Canada has released its May 2026 sales results, marked by record performance for electrified vehicles. A total of 19,403 electrified units were sold during the month, representing 70.0% of Toyota Canada’s overall sales.
Among the highlights, the redesigned Canadian-assembled Toyota RAV4 Hybrid achieved its best sales month ever, for the second month in a row. Several other electrified nameplates also delivered strong results, including the Prius family, RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid, Toyota bZ, Crown Signia, 4Runner Hybrid and Sienna Hybrid.
These results confirm the growing interest among Canadian drivers for Toyota electrified vehicles, which offer a strong balance of performance, fuel efficiency and reliability.
